Japan Ryukyu Islands Pre-Trip Extension Ecotour
Join me to explore Japan's subtropical islands in search of 11 endemics! On Amami, we will hope to find Lidth's Jay, Amami Woodcock, and White-backed Woodpecker. On Okinawa, our explorations could turn up Okinawa Rail, Okinawa Woodpecker, and Okinawa Robin on this ecotour with the Bird Alliance of Oregon. Japan: Land of the Rising Sun Ecotour
Join me to explore Japan's mountainous islands and unique culture! We will start in Tokyo searching for three endemics: Japanese Green Woodpecker, Copper Pheasant, and Green Pheasant. On Hokkaido, our explorations will give us chances for Red-crowned Crane, White-tailed Eagle, and the endangered Blakiston's Fish-Owl on this ecotour with the Bird Alliance of Oregon.
